Description
The Arnafjord, one of the many arms of the Sognefjord, belongs to the municipality of Vik i Sogn and is situated about 20 km west from Vik. The fjord is known for its many and beautiful waterfalls. The mountains around the fjord are a natural gateway to the famous hiking area Stølsheimen.

The population in Arnafjord is spread over 3 minor settlements around the fjord. Most of the people are farmers. The number of households in Arnafjord is aprox. 70.

The Arnafjord is a popular destination for day trips and holidays.

Haldorslifossen

Haldorslifossen is an impressing waterfall situated in Tenne in Arnafjord. The waterfall is visible from the road driving from Indrefjord to Nese. From the parking place in the little gravel pit, the way leads first up to the shooting stand. From there, a relativly steep track leads up to the waterfall. The hike takes approximatley 1/2 hour.
