Kristianhus Båt- og Motormuseum

Kristianhus båt- og motormuseum is the life's work of Kristian Otterskred. Since 1976, he has collected around 200 ship motors, most of them norwegian made. The museum shows the technological development in motor building from about 1905 to 1960 and the diversity of motor manufacturers along the Norwegian coast. In the same building, Vik Tourist Information can be found.

Vik i Sogn

The municipality of Vik is situated on the southern shores of the Sognefjord, one of the longest fjords in the world. Coming from Voss, Bergen or Oslo you reach Vik via the road RV13 over the mountain area Vikafjellet. Coming from the south, the ferry takes you from Dragsvik or Hella to Vangsnes. In addition, the express boat to and from Bergen stops in Vik, during the summer season two times a day.
