The Sognefjord has several activity centres and museums that are quite unique of their kind in Norway. Most of them are closely linked to the very special natural environment of the Sognefjord and will thus increase your understanding and enjoyment of our landscape.

Kristianhus Båt- og Motormuseum

Kristianhus båt- og motormuseum is the life's work of Kristian Otterskred. Since 1976, he has collected around 200 ship motors, most of them norwegian made. The museum shows the technological development in motor building from about 1905 to 1960 and the diversity of motor manufacturers along the Norwegian coast. In the same building, Vik Tourist Information can be found.
